What to Expect at Your Bridal Trial
Held at our salon in Holme Grange Craft Village, Wokingham, the trial is where we perfect your wedding look.
- Consultation: We review your wedding dress neckline, floral mood board and veil style.
- Skin & Product Selection: We choose the right formulas from Charlotte Tilbury, NARS, Dior and Armani for your skin type.
- Photo & Lighting Check: We take photos in different lighting so your makeup looks right on camera.
Trial Booking Policy
Trials take place on weekdays between 9am and 3pm. Payment for trials is due 1 week prior to the appointment. Extended trials are available on request.

How do I get a quote for my wedding?
Simply send your details through the enquiry form above. Catherine personally reviews every enquiry, checks team availability and replies by email with a bespoke hair and makeup quote — please allow a little time for us to come back to you.
What deposit is required to secure my wedding date?
We require a £100 deposit to secure your wedding date with Catherine Taylor Bridal Team. This deposit is deducted from your final wedding day balance.
Are there minimum booking requirements during peak season?
During peak wedding season (May to October Fridays & Saturdays), we may have a minimum booking requirement for hair and makeup services. All bookings must include the bride.
How far do your artists travel on the wedding day?
Our 30+ team members travel across Berkshire, Surrey, Hampshire, the Cotswolds, London and nationwide. Travel is charged at £0.60 per mile round trip from our Wokingham salon per artist, with any congestion charge and parking added at cost.
When is the final balance due?
Your remaining wedding day balance is due at least 2 weeks prior to your wedding day. Trial invoices are sent once trials are scheduled and due 1 week before the trial date.
